I work in watercolor.  I love the flow and sparkle of the medium.  My work usually zeros in on a particular subject and I paint with strong contrasting light and darks with brilliant color.  The southwest has strongly influenced my art.  I have been enchanted by the shifting shadows and bright colors of the southwest for the past 30 years.  I have spent many summers painting in that area.

I have shown in regional and state juried shows and have received several awards for my work.  I have also exhibited in various solo and group exhibitions.
