"TRAUMA CHAPLAIN"
Remembering "911" & Critical Responses

Father,

Our words will never describe what you know others are feeling
right now. These tragedies have struck a blow to the very fiber
of our land.

Now in the aftermath our country has to make a choice of survival
or to continue on as victims.

Lord, you know we have been victimized by these acts.
Lord, you also know that it was the intent of these terrorists to inflict fear,
unrest, sadness, and feelings of insecurity on this great land.
We know this is the very goal of terrorism.

I ask Father that you lead people away from the mantle of
victimhood.

Away from the crisis of fear to the peace that only you can provide.
Peace beyond all understanding. Beyond the understanding of nations
that have felt these tactics for many years and that have driven
themselves into a cycle of fear, because they did not seek you as
the answer.

Let our nation seek your presence Father.
Let us come to you now as a nation laying our petitions of safety,
security, peace, love, comfort, and prosperity at your feet.

Do these things not lead us to your salvation Father, to your Son?
God please grant these petitions through your mighty grace.

Bless our Leaders Father. Guide them and comfort them as they face
horrors untold. Steer their hands and comfort their spirits.

God, let us not forget the prize you have paid.
The prize of the blood of your Son.

Let Him be glorified in this instance and for evermore.
Let salvation spread through the land.

We ask you now Father with all the faith we can muster God.
Bless us Lord,
Bless America as you always have,
bless as you did in the beginning.
Lord bless us until the end.
Let us dwell in your shelter Father.
Let us rest in your shadow.

Psalm 911 for 9/11/2001

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1

In the Name of Jesus
Amen
