William Thomas Kinnersley's Children

The nine children of William Thomas Kinnersley and Alabama Virginia Moore were:

   ii)Charles Thomas Kinnersley (16 Dec 1860 - 23 Apr 1930)

Aunt Annie was the daughter of John T. and Mary E. Caulk of St Michaels, MD, at whose home she and Charles Thomas Kinnersley were married. Uncle Charlie worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a telegraph operator, and lived for most of his life in Fort Worth, Texas. We have several pictures of them, taken on an occasion when they visited WTK at his Jefferson Street residence. At the time, Charlie was stout, with partially balding dark hair, a mustache and sideburns. He died in Fort Worth. Charlie and Annie are both buried in Loudon Park alongside their parents.

Both of these children of WTK and AVK died at an early age of scarlet fever, and are buried in Baltimore Cemetery, Lot 104, Section M.

   vii)Bertie Janet Greenwood Kinnersley (6 Jul 1872 - 22 Dec 1936)
      (unmarried)

Aunt Bertie graduated from Eastern High School and attended the Maryland Institute. She taught art in the 5th and 6th grades at School #80, Ensor and Gay Streets, School #13 at McElderry Street and Patterson Park Avenue, and later at Clifton Park Junior High School on Harford Road. She was a particularly dedicated teacher, taking her students on nature walks and trips to the art museums in Baltimore. She lived at the Green Hall Apartments, St Paul and 33rd Streets.

   viii)Alabama Pearl Kinnersley (13 Apr 1875 - 5 Sep 1879)

Allie Pearl died of scarlet fever at age four, but we have several good pictures of her. She is buried in Baltimore Cemetery. She appears in the Baltimore City Death Index incorrectly as "Alice."

   ix)Augusta Maud Lorraine Kinnersley (24 Jan 1879 - 20 Feb 1934)
      m. 20 Jun 1900 John W. Jester (Jan 1881 - ?)

Aunt Lorraine, "Gussie Maud," died in Pennsgrove, New Jersey, and is buried in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore. Her husband Jack was the son of John William Jester Jr and his wife Mary Florence, of Kennedyville, Maryland, later Betterton, Maryland.
