Dorothy Dow was born in Chicago, Illinois, and subsequently lived and married in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the 1920 Census the Parkers were living at 391 Lawrence in Detroit. After her divorce Dorothy moved to San Jose, California to be near her daughter Ann. Both Viva and Dorothy were interested in genealogy, and Dorothy corresponded with me many times.
