Kinnersley Records in Early London

The branch of the Kinnersley family that we are most interested in came from London. Here are some examples of early London records:

London parishes containing Kinnersley records include St George's Hanover Square, St Thomas, St Margaret Moses, St Paul's Covent Garden, St Bartholomew's by Exchange, and Temple Church. A few of the entries:

Another item:

"A brief narrative of the affair which happened at Tours to the Viscount Dunkeron, Mr Kinnersley, and Mr Stuart, touching the killing of one Mauripate, etc" (1732) – A folio in the British Museum.

Two printed Kinnersley genealogies exist:

According to a letter from Albert J. Kinnersley, a lawyer, written in the 1940's to my father, a Sir William H. Kinnersley was Vice Chancellor to the King of England at some time during the 1700's, and wrote several important legal opinions on contract law. So far, I have been unable to confirm this.

John Kinnersley Hooper (1791-1854) was Lord Mayor of London for the year 1847.
