In the past year I have become aquainted with a group of women on the internet. They have many different jobs; some are stay at home moms, some are professional and technical workers, but they all have a love of webdesigning in common. Recently, three of these ladies formed a distinct group with one goal in mind; to be friends and a source of support and sharing with each other. I was honored to be asked to join this group.
I chose the above symbol as my personal symbol  for this group. The roots of the symbol reach back into Gaelic antiquity. It is a circle, symbolizing our group as a whole, but it also is what is called a Triskel; a symbol of trinity within the circle. In ancient Celtic symbology the Triskel represents the three forms of the Goddess, the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone. It is inherently a feminine symbol, representing the three stages of a woman's life. I think it is highly appropriate to represent the group and who we are.
