Dave is a "CERTIFIED MEMBER" of ASHI, The American Society of Home Inspectors. ASHI is the oldest and most recognized name in the home inspection industry ASHI inspections are recognized by FHA, VA, and the National Association of Realtors. ASHI has the strictest set of Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics in the industry ASHI does have mandatory continuing education guidelines that have to be met to remain a "CERTIFIED MEMBER."
Dave is a life-long resident of the Lawrence area. He has been involved with residential, apartment and commercial building maintenance and remodeling for over thirty-four years. His service is the oldest continuing inspection company in the Lawrence area. He is personally recommended by several senior appraisers and offices. Additionally, he has performed specialty inspections for lending institutions for problem evaluations, conducted inspections for Lawrence area Realtor firms on their guaranteed real estate home sales program, and volunteered as a consultant for home owner building arbitration hearings for the Kansas Better Business Bureau.
In December of 1997, Dave retired from the Lawrence Fire Department with 29 years of service as line fire fighter. His other responsibilities included scheduling and performing business occupancy inspections, and conducting fire education programs for the Lawrence community.

Each Home Inspection includes an evaluation of roofing, electrical, heating, built in appliances that stay with the home, plumbing and visual structure.
Dave is a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and the Great Plains Chapter of ASHI. To obtain certification, members must perform a minimum of 250 home inspections and pass a series of written tests that cover both mechanical and structural aspects of a home. Once certified, members must maintain at least 20 hours of continuing education every two years All of these requirements ensure that your clients will receive a through, experienced, ethical and knowledgeable home inspection.
