Clubs in the area
SAM 56, FAC Sunflower Squadron and BEAMS.
Wichita-based clubs with both indoor and outdoor activities. Contact
Dan Benner (daniel.d.benner@boeing.com) for information. The annual SAM
WHAM BAM (outdoor) is the featured event. BEAMS indoor general flying
at the Central Community Church, 6100 W. Maple, Wichita. As with all contests,
check before you travel!
Magnificent Mountain Men (MMM)
A great club with several important yearly contests, including the FAI
14 rounder (July) and the Dynasty Cup (Sept.). Monthly contests, large
SAM group. Lots of fun on a great field east of Denver.

Tulsa Glue Dobbers
An Oklahoma club and one of the oldest FF clubs in the nation. They run
monthly contests in the Tulsa area and have an excellent newsletter.
Okie Fliers
The Okie Fliers have an active indoor contest season using the National
Guard Armory in Oklahoma City.Consult HAFFA News for their schedule for
2003.
