   God created all things (through Christ) and created man in God's image. A fact, a good thing (a very very good thing)

   Every part of creation was polluted and corrupted by sin. And man, who, among those things that were created, alone bears the image of God, now shows only a tarnished, shattered and imperfect image of God, and has been separated from God, deserves eternal death, and has no means of his own to establish once more the wonderful relationship he once had, or to enjoy the better relationship that will exist in eternity.

   God, after consulting only Himself, His own counsel, and only by His gracious favor, to totally undeserving sinners, has provided a means of salvation, a way of escape from the wrath to come, a way to be restored to right relationship with Him, the only God of the universe.

   There is only one way, the way He provided, and that is to believe in His Son, who he sent to us rebellious sinful people who are not inclined in any way to go to Him.

   The charge to you is to repent of your sin, and believe on the Son He sent. His name is Jesus. He is the Christ, Messiah, saviour of those that will spend eternity in Heaven, in the presence of God.

   To those who believe, God's Spirit will actually come to live (immediately) within them. True believers will (a little at first, but more and more as they grow in grace and knowledge of Him) hate sin, want to know more and more about God, will read His word, will study the doctrines of God, will fellowship with other true believers, will publicly and privately pray, will partake of the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's supper, and will sing and worship Him reverently with other believers.

   This is our prayer for all who read this.
