We are always interested in works by mid-century Wichita artists, including members of the indeX group: David Bernard, Watson Bidwell, Bruce Conner, James G. Davis, Paul 'Pablo' Edwards, Rex Hall, Eugene 'Skip' Harwick, Ken Jones, Robert Kiskadden, Enrique Riveron and Mary Joan Waid. We are also seeking works by the students of Birger Sandzen at Bethany College, Lindsborg, and by the students of William J. Dickerson at the Wichita Art Association. We are also interested in historical Kansas pottery (Fort Hays, Kanza, Kansas Geological Survey, Miltonvale, Studio Pottery from Kansas colleges and Universities) and work by the Kansas WPA Museum Project (pottery, metalwork, dolls, furniture, etc.). We are always interested in obtaining personal materials - original letters, diaries, notebooks, sketchbooks, student works, personal photographs, exhibition catalogs, sales records, etc. - related to the artists listed above. |
