I have been in the
ministry for about 37 years. I have served in many capacities from children's work to
older adults. God has blessed in allowing me to minister to a variety of people over the
years. I spent most of my ministry in Kansas...that's where God planted me...at least
for a season. But now we reside in Florida where I continue to be busy with children's ministry and POPP chaplain involvement with the firefighters and law enforcement.
There have been many joys in the path where He has led and yet some sorrow and heartache but we come through stronger warriors as we learn more and more to depend on Him. God so blessed me with a terrific husband, Rod, who supports my ministry and is a true helpmate. He is a behind the scenes person and a strength of courage and steadfastness in the Lord. Together we have traveled with our puppet ministry, Sonshine & Company {He is the Sonshine and We are His Company}. With God's anointing, souls have been led to His side. We have traveled many miles over the years and each place we have been invited to go, has left a true heart print on our lives...that's the way God works...you go to do His work, with the giving of time, talents and finances, and He blesses you abundantly more than you would ever think that He could. Ephesians 3:20 Ministry is my life, my call from God, and He just keeps opening doors and as I walk through...to Him be all Glory and Honor and praise. I long to serve Him till I take my last breath here on Earth and then I'll breathe in the new life that will be mine. It is a privilege to serve as a Chaplain for the Peace Officers and First Responders and their families. We may never meet, but God will hold us close. As we pray together, encourage one another and share God's LOVE in ways that the world doesn't grasp...but with God...all things are possible! |
