| He has faithfully served as Chaplain/Director of the
Tulsa Police/Fire Chaplaincy Corp.
for(15+ yrs). God gave him a vision for an intercessory prayer partner ministry in 1981 -- a ministry that would placeprayer blankets over law enforcement officers who are appointed by God in Romans 13 to serve, protect, and bring peace to our land. This appointment comes with great risk to "self." Chaplain Danny began to raise community awareness of 1 Timothy 2:1,2 (NLT) scriptures which clearly explain: "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity." By 1996, the ministry had expanded its vision to include ALL law enforcement and First(Emergency)Responders and our outreach had reached Scotland Yard. This page is to glorify God for the wonderful miracles and blessings, for endurance, deliverance, and peace of spirit that falls upon the Peace Officers and first responders, today - as a result of community prayer blankets thrown over them in the heat of summer and cold of winter. We praise God for the humble "heart of a chaplains" who seek not praise of self - but praise, thanks, encouragement, and uplifting for the men and women who willingly "walk the point"and become our "shields" and "our blessings." |
