Father, we come to you with aching hearts and spirits to be healed.
As disaster has struck our beloved America, the land of promise which
you led our forefathers to find, we are plunged into deep pain and loss.
Lord, we need your compassionate touch.

We THANK you for your UNCONDITIONAL LOVE andsupport as we
struggle to cope with our losses in this world. We ask for your
guidance as we strain to get understanding of Your PROMISE of
eternal LIFE.

We shed tears of joy for each life that is saved and rejoice over
the courageous hearts of men and women who offered or laid down their
lives in hopes that another might live.
We place their service of love and sacrifice before you. Their faith, hope
and courage represents the heart of America.
These people are the "eagles" of America!

Civilians; Federal, State, and City leaders; Law Enforcement
(civilian & military); Border Patrol Agents; Firefighters;Emergency Medical Teams; Investigators; Special Agents; Water Rescue Units;Dispatchers; ALL First Responders; Medical Staff; Utility workers; and many more.

Father, we remember the children for many have rallied around the
flag poles, prayed for America, and believed in their country. Some
of them have laid down their lives to honor God and country.

We raise them in prayer and thanksgiving for putting their communities
FIRST and SELF LAST. We stand in awe as we see them endure
incrediable obstacles to aid their brothers and sisters.

We intercede for these humble, dedicated men and women to whom
You have given the immense responsibility of keeping the peace,
saving lives,and protecting property.

Give them supernatural strength to endure the long hours and indescribable
environmental conditions. Maintain their hearts of compassion as they
carry out their duties that tend to loom as mountains.

Guide their words of comfort to the injured and dying.
Make their reactions be quick and accurate resulting in safety for
themselves and individuals they are committed to protect.

We pray that they will feel our prayers and your mighty presence.
Lord, walk beside us and shelter our cities with the
spreading of your wings.
