Saleen Brake Guide

Brakes have been an area of much confusion for Saleen owners. From 1987 to 1993, Saleen modified the braking system on ALL cars. For 94 - later owners, upgraded braking was an option, with numerous systems being used, often as a "running change".  This leads to a lot of confusion when trying to restore or perform maintenance on a car. In addition to the systems listed, Ford, Saleen, and the aftermarket all offer numerous upgrade possibilities.

In the following pages, I've attempted to identify the major variations used for each generation of Saleen production. However, since Saleen is a small volume manufacturer, there are additional variations which may or may not have been documented. If you have additional detailed pictures or documents, I'd love to have a copy sent to me at the email address listed at the bottom of the page.
