Who Is ShyAnne?

	First and foremost, I am a child of God. My faith in Jesus and my daily walk with the Lord is what has made me who I am today. I know he has carried me through the hard times. When times are rolling clean and trouble-free, I Praise God for the break! The Lord is my strength.
	I am a single mom. I have been working very hard to raise my two kids to love God and live right. I sing all the time. My kids are always saying, "Mom, you need to sing on the radio like other people do." So I guess the kids are sort of my boots. They are what is kicking me out the door and giving me the will to try. They are my inspiration.
	I was raised in a strong Christian home. There are several rocks in my life that helped me to become solid. My thanks and huge hugs go to my mother. She has a heart of pure love for your soul and makes sure you know who God is and what his teachings are. My daddy, for teaching me how to work hard for what I have. Without the scraped knuckles and the bloody knees, I would not have appreciated life so much. He always has a supply of hugs, cute little "nicknames", and a supply of band-aids for the grandkids. My Grandmother Ruthie joined our Lord in heaven in February 2004. She showed me what Heaven will be like before she began her journey. She always had a kind word and said, "If you can't say something nice about someone, say nothing." She always inspired me to go forward when I stumbled and to never lose faith in the Lord. She was "unconditional love" living in our midst. She is missed. Without their teachings and constant reminding of "who I am", I would never have been able to "find my way." They are my guides.
	I grew up between two brothers. I am not sure which one is the orneriest. Perhaps, I am the winner on that one. When we were kids, I wanted to be like them. I wanted the cool hotwheels and to play in the little league baseball game. I was always in their stuff, getting on their nerves. But when trouble came knocking, they were my bodyguards. They are my protectors.
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of standing on the Grand Ol’ Opry stage and singing my heart out. I can remember watching tv programs in awe of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Buck Owens, Allison Krauss, Tammy Wynette, Amy Grant, Roy Clark, Tanya Tucker, Evie, Dolly Parton, and Ricky Skaggs, among others. I grew up listening to the country bluegrass and gospel greats of the past, while my friends were all playing the new rock and pop star music of the day. The music I enjoyed is what shaped me and gave me my “style”. This was my past.
But now I forge ahead into the future and I travel with HOPE and in FAITH I have songs to sing that will make people smile and put a little SHY...N in their life So... tune in...you'll be HEARING from me....
