Dr. Diane Dyer-Chenoweth
I grew up in this area and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1976. I received a B.S. from Kansas State and Associate in Dental Hygiene from Johnson County Community College. I have been in dentistry in one form or another since 1970. My 1st job was as an assistant in my Dad's orthodontic office on weekends and during the summer breaks. After college, I worked as a dental hygienist for several years before becoming a dental pharmaceutical sales representative. I then went back to school to get my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UMKC. While in the process of setting up my dental practice, I returned to my alma mater, JCCC to teach in the Dental Hygiene Department. I still help teach local anesthesia to hygienists a few times a year.
