  • The GreenReport® is a mapping product that has been available to users since the spring of 1996. The report focuses on the Conterminous U. S., Cornbelt and Wheatbelt areas for agricultural interests, while the Forestry Report highlights forested areas for resource managers.
  • Produced using data acquired from the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) satellite which records images over the United States several times daily.
  • Images are collected for a two week (biweekly) period, and electronically compiled to produce a cloud-free image .
  • The GreenReport® features four maps that are produced each week for eight regions of the conterminous U.S.

Planalytics Winter Wheat

Crop marketers, buyers, and sellers can now take advantage of remote-sensing technology through Planalytics Life Sciences' crop yield forecasts.

By using digital satellite imagery instead of sampling techniques, crop yield models are more accurate than ever before and can be tailored to show regional yields down to Crop Reporting Districts and counties. Available 30 days before USDA estimates, our yield forecasts are the result of two years of research and development by our partner, TerraMetrics Agriculture, Inc.
