Many people believe that once a car is "done", you just drive it. Our car is more of an "evolution". We're constantly searching for new ideas, new details, and making changes to improve appearance, performance or reliability. This page details some of the changes that have taken place in the past year or so...

COMPLETED - A new 65GT-style 5-dial instrument cluster, with white-face Autometer Phantom gauges. It turned out really nice - 5 gauges in the dash and 2 more matching gauges in the Shelby pod. More details on our new "Instrument" webpage.
In the works - The car is currently in hundreds of pieces for a thorough cleaning and detailing. Check out some of those updates by clicking here.
Cancelled - A-pillar gauge pod. With the new instrument setup, we've decided to cancel this project. The parts are available on our "For Sale Page".
In the works - New side stripes? This one could be interesting. The stripe above is the "leading" option at the moment. It's based on the 2005 Ford GT's side stripes.
Changed to center Hump-Mounted Lokar emergency brake. Original E-brake handle and parts are on our "For Sale Page".
Changed all body bolts to polished stainless socket flathead with finishing rings. This is a really nice update - much cleaner look than factory fasteners. We currently have a few more sets of these available on our "For Sale Page".
Rearranged plug wiring from over the valvecovers to the late-model vertical routing and added distributor cap cover.
Changed to 70 "pop-open" gas cap with 68 Shelby emblem insert.
Changed to black leather Lecarra steering wheel.
Carpeted trunk area.
Added polished stainless radiator core support top cover.
Relocated engine compartment wiring. Relocated horns.
Added headlight relays.
