Welcome to GT350Clone.com!

The domain name www.GT350Clone.com is no longer active

Information presented is static, and probably will not receive further updates.

I'm leaving these pages up as a reference tool - this site still gets quite a few visits.

At some point, these pages may be removed to free up file space - THANKS!

ANNOUNCEMENT: The car featured on this website has been SOLD!

I've purchased a 2000 Saleen 281SC Convertible for a replacement "toy".

You can check out my other site www.MySaleenMustang.com for more details.

More magazine coverage! Check out the January 2006 issue of Mustang Times to see "the clone" and it's twin!

Don't get Mustang Times? Check out THIS PHOTO ALBUM for the pictures! (thanks to Starr Novak)

"The clone" was first featured in the centerfold of the JULY 2004 issue of Mustang & Fords magazine. Pictures and text are by Jerry Heasley.

Since then, it was also featured as one of 12 "Cutting Edge Restomods" in the February 2005 Mustang Monthly Magazine! Quite an honor, especially when you see that 10 of the other 11 cars were professionally built! We've added a new Magazine Coverage Webpage that shows this article, along with several other recent appearances. We never set out to build a "magazine car" - it was just a matter of "being in the right place at the right time". A big THANK YOU to photographer Jerry Heasley and the magazine editors!

Check out the CAR UPDATES PAGE and CAR UPDATES PAGE 2 for some of the last updates and new projects we did with the car. We've also added NEW pictures sent to us by the car's previous owner. These pictures were taken in the early 90's, when it looked NOTHING like it does today! Check them out here!

About Us & This Site...

Information presented on this site is about OUR car, and information we've learned (sometimes the hard way) in 25+ years of wrenching on old cars. I previously made a living in the automotive aftermarket industry, building performance cars, and selling performance parts.

Currently, I work completely outside the automotive industry and plan to keep it that way. Cars are TOO MUCH FUN to ruin the experience by making a living out of it!

Information and links on the pages in no way endorse any company or product. Yes, we have opinions about what works and what doesn't, but you get to decide for yourself. We are not "PAID" in any way by any company and don't collect money for the free links we provide. Yes, I do have a few "personal" items that I sell, but we aren't on anybody's "payroll"!
