Getting rid of the Blurries on AOL
On the menu along the top border, click on My AOL, then click on Preferences, then click on WWW, then click on the tab that says Web Graphics, then uncheck the "Use compressed graphics" box. Click OK.  Sometimes, it won't work for that session, and you need to get out of AOL and start it again. Sometimes it does work. I've had both scenarios happen. Another annoying thing about AOL are the window sizes. You may notice that you can't see the whole page because the browser window is too small and that you have to scroll left and right at the bottom. And, you may notice that you maximize the window only to have it shrink down again as soon as you click on a link to another page. First maximize the page by clicking the square in the upper right corner of the browser window. Then, click on the drop down menu for Window, then click on Remember Window Size. Believe it or not, there are better ways to surf the net than through AOL.  Let me know if you have any questions about it.
