Eggy Easter
Eggy Easter

Earlier this month, I took a trip down to Wichita and attended a performance by my niece, Kayla. She performed in the Youth Choir and sang some exceptional tunes with a fantastic choir. Here she is with her friend Danika, and her two sisters.

Included are pictures of our neighborhood party, my mother's visit, and Easter Buffet with our friends, Ron and Bobbi, their son, and my mother.

This was right before
her performance.

Here's John with

Here's one of my
oldest friends, Mark.
He played percussion
for the Youth Choir.

Here we have the proud
Dad and Mom.

John, Janet, Phil, Karen, Nancy, and
Lindsay.

Below are some pictures from a little get-together I had with my neighbors. There was enough food for an army. Baked beans, deviled eggs, chicken, hamburger, salad, pasta salad...the works!

Here is a very cute card
given to us by my mother-in-law,
Susan. I love it!

Here are two of our neighbors,
Beth and Gene. That's me to the
right drinking a Bud...very unusual!

Here is Beth
with Michael,
then Gene. We
had so much food!
Beth brought baked
beans, and Gene brought
deviled eggs...yum!

My neighbors, Garret,
Gail, and Greg. Garret really enjoyed playing with our doglet, Flea. They both got jealous over who got the ball. They were so cute!

For Easter, my mom visited. We took her downtown, did some window shopping, and had Lydia over for a visit. Although, I didn't get a picture of Lydia's visit, I did get some pictures of our Easter Buffet at Shalor's in the Eldridge Hotel. We were there with Ron, Bobbi, and their son, Jacob.

Jacob had a good Easter that included a basket full of goodies from the Easter Bunny, some dyed eggs, and the Golden Anniversary Silly Putty! Yeah! Jacob, do me a favor, and keep it out of the carpet, kay?
"That wife of mine, I tell you..."

"Excuse me?"

"Mommy, will my nose look like
yours when I get big?"

Notice we didn't eat the eggs. We
were stuffed full!
