During our trip to Springfield, Michael and I managed to get his grandmother to go on an outing with us and Michael's mother, Susan. There is a train park sporting small trains, like the one you can see below, with lots of track through the forrest on which to ride. The trains are rather long and can hold about thirty or so people. After unsuccessfully trying to talk Louise into riding the train, Susan, Michael and Janet rode the train while she waited behind. During our ride, the train began to rumble before it derailed! Michael bailed by jumping out onto the ground below. It was nothing, really, but could have been much worse! I'm glad the train didn't derail over the bridge...Geez!

to straddle that little train!"

Here is the view going over the bridge
and through the forrest.

She wasn't successful!

So, she poses without the doglets.
Notice the acreage behind her.
The field had just been mown.
