Good Martini
Good Martini

These pictures are random at best. You'll see a little visit to my friend's, a visit to the lake, to our favorite breakfast joint, and a visit from our friends. Life as usual, for us.

Around five on Friday the 21st, I
was driving down Doug and Terra's
street, so I popped in to say Hi.

"Hi, Janet!
 Wanna martini?"

Sure, why not?

Lydia and I had some errands to run
together, and in the mean time,
we became stuck in a time warp.
It was hard getting out.

On Doug and Terra's fridge is a pic of
Kate in the Lawrence Journal World last
Halloween. These were her scary jack-o-lanterns.

Then, Kris and Rob came by. Rob freaked the doglets out!
He even fell to his back on the floor like a dog in submission.
The doglets were viscous ankle biters and Rob couldn't
figure out what the problem was! I think it's his face.

Here's Cynthia and Troy. I met them at Paradise Cafe' for some breakfast on Saturday the 22nd and this was at the table.  We all had the same thing...the Salmon Trout Filet and Eggs platter, go figure.

Sunday it snowed, but it wasn't that cold, so we took the doglets to Clinton Lake (no relation to Bill).  It looks dismal, but it was a wonderful hike.  We were gone for about two hours or more.

That's Flea on the left, and Kenai on the right (my left). Our doglets love to get dressed up for cold winter days at the lake.

This is me, picking up trash at Clinton Lake. Remember those commercials that used to be on t.v., about 15 or 20 years ago, that had the Indian looking at the trash and he had a tear running down his cheek? I hate trash.

Here's Michael with the doglets by the lake.
