Last of June

Just a few random shots throughout June. First you see pictures of our backyard before the heat burned out all of the grass. We had a couple of scorching weeks in early July.

Bobbi and her co-workers volunteered and raised money for the Relay For Life. They raised money for cancer by getting sponsors to donate and showing their committment to finding a cure by walking the Haskell Indian College track for 24 hours. Various functions and prize give-aways kept participants up all night. We ran into Kris, who volunteered with her co-workers from Bert Nash. At 7:30 a.m., I played Simon Says, and won a Brighton purse! Sometimes it really does pay to listen!

A really nice guy who
found my friend's cell phone,
and returned it! Here he is
posing with the phone and a
candle I gave to him as a token
of my friend's appreciation.
