This is February in a nutshell. I've missed some events, but that's life.
I hope you all enjoy the pics!
Feb. 11th, our crowd visited the Lawrence Nature Center and checked out live native-to-Kansas animals and some dead skinned ones, as you see to the left. It's a great place to bring kids and adults to learn more about nature.

This possum was rescued out of the pocket womb of his dead mother when he was only three grams! He is now 2 years old and pretty tame for a possum. Cute, too! We saw him at the Lawrence Lawn and Garden Show and Wildcare was presenting a few of their saved wild animals. To the right is a Kestrel Falcon. This one is much brighter
than the one I saw in January.

The Kawdaddies had a gig at Liberty Hall. The party was for the KU Law School, so the "Moody Bluebooks" played first, and The Kawdaddies joined in with them on a few songs.

The Kawdaddies played at Liberty Hall
along with The Moody Bluebooks. There was a full house
of lawyers because it was a party
for the KU Law School.

February 17th marked the official launching of Windows 2000. Ron was the lucky one who got to speak before 4000 (+) people in Kansas City. Here he is taking a peak at the audience. Is anybody out there?
