You know that feeling when you find out a good friend is leaving town for good, and then that day finally arrives, but it still doesn't hit you? That was this day at Quentin's in downtown Lawrence. Susan's friends had a get-together to wish her farewell. She's off to her new place of residence in Ft. Collins, CO. This day was also Susan's beau's birthday. He's the one with the cake. I met Susan at the health club, and actually worked out with her at six a.m. several mornings! I could always count on Susan to call me up for a daily workout. Hey Susan, ya wanna workout? Life won't be the same.
